Maria Donadio

Today Safety King received a Thank You message for our participation in the 16th Annual Maria Donadio Golf Classic To Benefit MDA. The Golf Classic was on June 17 and raised $42,000, bringing the grand total raised by the Donadio family over these years to $1,110,621. The family will be presenting the check from the 2010 Classic at the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon Labor Day weekend. Next year’s Classic will be on June 16, 2011, and Safety King will be right there for this good cause as we are every year.

Every year since its inception in 1995, Safety King has participated in a southeast Michigan MDA fund raising effort known as the Maria Donadio Golf Classic. This year, 2008, was no exception, and the outing raised over $66,000. Counting this year’s contributions, the Maria Donadio Golf Classic has passed the $1,000,000 mark in funds raised for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Safety King has received the certificate of appreciation shown below for our role in making this year’s outing a success.
