Kanberra Gel® Air Purifier is manufactured by Intellipure Technologies, LLC, in Lancaster, New York. It is an all-natural, air purifying, semi-solid, biodegradable gel that dissipates gradually into the air inside your air ducts and breaks down mildew, mold, bacteria and viruses at a molecular level, eliminating odors associated with them. This product is a unique blend of pharmaceutical-grade Australia Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia), lemon-scented Tea Tree Oil (Leptospermum petersonii), several polymers and water. That's it. Kanberra Gel is completely free of dangerous or toxic chemicals of any kind. It works by allowing the natural antiseptic properties of the oils to free your air ducts of microbial contamination. The gel gradually evaporates after you open the container inside an air duct. As the gel evaporates, the water component completely dissipates. The oils then land on surfaces where they eat away at mold, mildew, bacteria and fungus. Kanberra Gel even has preventive qualities. For as long as 45 days after the last bit of gel has evaporated, its antiseptic effects on microbial growth continue, preventing recurring contamination. The gel does have a pleasant scent at first but it does not last even though the oils keep working.
To see the astonishing effects of Kanberra Gel on mold, look at the photos below. They show a fresh bagel divided up into equal parts and placed into sealed containers for 30 days with one gram of various "odor eliminating" products. Notice the amount of mold growing on the bagel in the container with Kanberra Gel.
You can purchase Kanberra Gel from your Safety King technicians while they are at your home to clean your ducts, or you can purchase it online by going HERE. The two most common sizes are 8 ounce (smaller homes) and 16 ounce (larger homes).
BAD AIR SPONGE® (BAS) is a semi-solid blue gel containing activated charcoal, humectants and reagents which adsorb, neutralize and alter undesirable odors and fumes. Its unique patented DEGHOST® formula will adsorb surface odors through molecular entrapment. Placed inside your air duct system after a thorough physical cleaning it can safely absorb and neutralize unwanted odors for between 30 and 150 days. It is designed for continuous use, is non-toxic, non-flammable, and environmentally safe. BAS reduces in size as it reacts with airborne odor causing compounds. The residual material is both pH balanced and 100% biodegradable. This product has been used in central air systems as an odor adsorbant for 50+ years and no known instances of allergies or sensitivities have been reported or recorded.

Safety King's normal approach to the air duct systems of our residential and commercial customers is to totally remove all contaminants that have accumulated there. There are certain rare situations, like partially deteriorated fiberglass duct liners, that may call for a different approach. Sometimes these duct liners cannot be effectively cleaned and the only way to prevent the contaminants on these liners, and fragments of the liners themselves, from being blown out into the breathing space of building occupants is to coat the liners with a sealant that locks down all particles in place and prevents them from becoming airborne. The coating material Safety King offers its customers is called Air Duct Encapsulant and is applied using commercial spraying equipment.
Air Duct Encapsulant (ADE) is a sheet metal / fiberglass liner encapsulant treatment manufactured by Mateson Chemical Corporation in Philadelphia, PA. Air Duct Encapsulant bonds particulate matter to all duct interiors.
